TAOC Discussion

guys,am gonna be less active on PC from now.......i mean, while doing this project....i got to travel lot of amazing places, meet different kinds of people etc etc....

i realized theres so much more to life and so much that i need to achieve. add to that, PC is filled with immature trolls and racist idiots which doesnt help the situation either.

so, i may login may be once or twice a week and only post when there is really something constructive or for important TAOC announcements.

but i'll still continue to work on TAOC as i used to and hope to finish this game soon.

JK

it will be a shame to see you become less active mate, however, it is great to here that you will be working on the game like you used to.

Just an idea, for 20/20s or whatever type of match you have a song file to put into the game and when the batsman comes out to bat it plays that song. So you could make your own sound files or whatever and put them in the game. For instance in Australia they play AC/DC Thunderstruck when there is a wicket at 20/20s. Just an idea, what do you think?

You blamed the old videos for the FPS and the real game wouldn't be like that. Now you say it was that and all dodgy calculations which was in the old engine.

Just realised I'm wasting too much time humoring you.

I like it. Yep, shouldn't be too hard to do, in fact, very easy. I'd just have to add a stat to all players for "Song".

Nice :) hopefully with the allstar match coming up I can hear what each players song is :p

Why do you have to be so negative when someone posts something you don't like. I think TAOC is a great project but I can't go on saying it 300 times. At the moment not much is happening(I know you are doing a lot atm, just from a news perspective).

I've known and supported TAOC for a long time so if you just said "no" and not in such a negative manner. Speak to me properly, I was just asking a question...

It might be easier if you stopped talking so much bollocks.

tbh, the whole scenario looks a bit convoluted....

can you please link me to the post where LM mentioned about the FPS issue ?
am sure he would've meant it in a different sense.

CD - what LM said was the loopyness and slow bowling was due to the FPS and dodgy calculations BEFORE it was rectified in the OLD engine.

and after we started with the physics in the NEW engine, we realized that
what we considered to be great in the OLD engine looks crap as the NEW engine physics blows it out of the water.

in short :-

New Engine Physics > Rectified Old Engine Physics > Old Engine Physics.

Yes. But I would prefer it if you didn't link to one of my old posts.:p

Alright. I get it now... I understand what LM was going on about.

Lol, I've had some English essays and it's helped me heaps. My English Teacher told me about paragraphs. I hardly knew how to use them before that. :D

I think you'll find i'm not normally so negative. But if someone comes out and blatantly makes an unfounded statement such as accusing me of lying, implying I deliberately sought to deceive people, then i would take great offence.

Anyway, let's move on shall we. Thanks.

It's not like I deliberately wanted to accuse you. All I really wanted was a proper answer to my question, I ask a lot of questions. I say it was a question more than an accusation. ;)

Sorry for any offence.
