Missing Yuvi is the biggest disappointment of the tournament. It will be a big blow for INDIA. we lost 50 % chances already. we should expect something great from

Nayar definitely deserves a chance against Pakistan, Karthik has had too many chances and hasn't proved to be the batsmen he is potentially capable of being.

If Gambhir is fit, then I think the line-up for all the matches should be:

1) Sachin Tendulkar
2) Rahul Dravid
3) Gautam Gambhir
4) MS Dhoni C+
5) Suresh Raina
6) Abhishek Nayar
7) Yusuf Pathan
8) Harbhajan Singh
9) RP Singh (OB2)
10) Ashish Nehra (OB1)
11) Ishant Sharma

Bowling looks slightly fragile with all these hot and cold bowlers, but we're just going to have to hope that they fire against Pakistan.

Good to see India topped the rankings for 2 days and maybe till 26 because they are going to lose with Pakistan. Injured India Team can't beat Pakistan.

Oh no. Dont say that! Pakistan are not that great a team that we cannot beat them without our best players. Maybe the contest will be quite closer this time but we are capable of beating Pakistan even with our current side.

We should really bench that crap RP Singh. Let alone playing, how he even got a chance in the team is beyond me. Can you believe it, his bowling average of the last 12months is nearly 60! I've been saying this from the very beginning, he's the most unreliable player of our team. If one day he picks up 6 wkts, the very next day he gets spanked for 100 runs. Seesh! :sarcasm I guess the "Dhoni influence" played a major role as far as including RP Singh in the team is concerned. Seriously, our skipper seems to be in love with this guy. He some days back, even threatened to resign over the non-inclusion of RP in the Ind-SL series (If I remember correctly). I like Dhoni, but this is just not the way.

Why do you need 6 bowlers? I would instead take Kohli for Pathan. After Yuvraj's exit, we need to cover up our batting with some batting talent as much as possible. Kohli should play. I would pick Mishra instead of Nehra because spinners are more likely to bowl well on these great batting wickets.

Also, why drop Nehra? He's been pretty good in the last couple of months. Don't forget that he even grabbed a MoM award in that tri-series.

Ishant needs to go first before RP. At least RP gets 6 wickets one day then goes for the 100 runs next day, but Ishant just goes for runs EVERYDAY. I think Dhoni is in love with Ishant more than RP.

Ishant is a good bowler, but he's been too damaging to the team ever since he almost singlehandedly cost us the match vs West Indies in T20 world cup. He's been failing time and again after that, yet he's being given unlimited chances. Let him go domestic and find his form back because he just plain sucks right now. If he doesn't perform in CT and still manages to be in our next major squad, I will declare Dhoni and BCCI GAY for Ishant Sharma. I swear our chances would be so much better right now if Irfan or even Sreesanth were here.

But I don't see that happening. Mishy won't play even though he's probably better than Bhajji, and we'll go with crap 3 pacers.

If we do go with something similar to my XI though, then it's probably guaranteed that the likes of Raina, maybe even Sachin, will be given quite a large quota of bowling by Dhoni. I don't think he'll trust Nayar's medium pacers.

We may even see going with 2 allrounders, with Kohli sitting out and Yusuf at 7. It'll be interesting.

All in all, I don't fancy our chances this time 'round.
