Can understand that action since SL have won the Spirit of cricket award consistently in the previous few years and so they dont want to give it up with that piece of bad sportsmanship. But according to me, they are reacting too much to it. Apology has been exchanged, and it should have been done and dusted there. Maybe they want to inject some spice in India-Sri Lanka contests with this incident.

This is absolute BS, he's been banned for preventing an OPPOSITION player form scoring a ton..yes, it may be bad sportsmanship, but it was smart. What's next, let a bowler bowl you so he can get a 5fa? This is International Cricket, not under 7's..you are supposed to fight for every little victory you can get.
