Terrible pieces of sportsmanship in cricket - disgraceful Randiv

Just did a google search and only 1 news source is saying that and its an Indian one. So its probably not true
Aaj Tak, the number 1 news channel in India has said that and they can never be wrong. Star News hinted on the suspension too.

Stop watching India TV and News 24.

Hmm... I guess Suspending Sanga is absolute foolishness now.

Its better, if all play cricket in a better way, not like bowling no balls and making the centuries/records miss.

Aaj Tak is crap filled as well. Apart from Zee News or NDTV you do not wanna look beyond.

I understand what your standard is.

And what would that be?

It says "Amitabh Bachan catches cold" :laugh

Weren't SL awarded ICC Spirit of Cricket award?

3 Times.
People are still crying over this? Randiv apologized and so did the SLC and Sangakkara. Whats the big deal.
Whats even weirder is that Sehwag said he doesn't mind it and then quickly changed his mind.

10:02 - Can any Sri Lankan translate what Sanga says there? I hear the word "Hundred"
He says "Don't let him get a 100"

Although in the manner which it was said, Sangakkara could very well have been referring to actually getting him out, and not bowling a no ball. Without the incident happening, you would think he's saying get him out, or telling the fielders to not let him get the 100 easily - something along those lines.

Yeah, it seems even Sangakkara has come out and said that the words he used were that Sehwag was 1 run away from a century. It's hard to interpret what he meant by that, may well have been innocent and the bowler misinterpreted it.

To be fair to the Sri Lankans, they're one of the nicest people and teams around. However, every now and then even they have individuals with a bit of an attitude, such as Ranatunga. I wouldn't be surprised if Sanga was involved, that guy although is quite decent most of the time, does have a bit of a record of being slightly arrogant. Anyway, no point guessing and blaming people without knowing the full story, so lets leave it at that and see what the board finds out.

On a slight tangent, this is a nice bit of gamesmanship from Sanga:

Individuals such as Ranatunga are required for every smaller team or team that is being bullied. Strong minded captains that wont take crap from many. West Indies had Lloyd, Sri Lanka had Ranatunga, Pakistan had Imran.

India had Ganguly.

I was more dissapointed in that stupid rule... that was a great 6 by Viru and if they can count the ball they should count the 6 too.

Its the same way I feel. This no ball thing not that big of a deal but the runs not being counted towards Virus total despite the ball being counted is just plain stupid.

Srilankan board excepted that Dilshan told randiv to bowl a no ball and deny Sehwag a 100. This topic is to stretched and we should leave it here...
