The shameful thing is, that while the local networks are always that fast, when I want to access long distance websites (like say in the US) this bandwidth comes to no use, because somewhere along the route some bottleneck comes up. Browsing and downloading from the most commonly used websites, I've been able to get 10-12Mbps generally, while occasionally crossing the 20Mbps mark. Download managers that split up downloads into multiple connections help in this regard. I downloaded Visual Studio (licensed as a uni student) at around 2.5MB/s!Oh god. I would go absolutely crazy with that connection! Amazing!
I hope I get good internet in college. One of the unis i'm applying to claims that they have the fastest internet in the world, second next to only NASA. Its one of my top choices so we'll find out soon enough hopefully
You make us feel jealous!Okay this is beyond my expectations now!
This is crazy!
