here are some of my old results of my new connection i took 2 months ago.the new connection was hyper fast than this one.it was broken..,Damn Slow.

Sorry to quote such a before post but i dont think i agree that touching the antenna doubles speed. If it would happen i probably think then nobody would pay for higher connections. There's definitely something fishy there.

Not even a chicken there,The modem's a demon,It Costed about 500-600 Pounds,Really Priced though.But,The reason is that it's used by my father for his office works and later on passed it onto me and i got such a connection.Though pretty unfortunate,,It Was Broken By my Cat in June....

Though does it matter?..If you guys belive or not,I Used to love it's speed like i was in a space craft....Really Enjoyed it.

Really? If that thing exists then it would cost even more then what you say. I've never heard of any modem which doubles speeds when touching the antenna! I bet even bill gates will be interested in that sort of thing. How can a thing increase the speed when the ISp has limited it? And also by "touching the antenna" ?

KB, go to that speed test site, and do the test again. This time, getting the oimage link direct from there, and pasting it here. So you can prove that you have a fast speed.

I think this posts self explanotory for anyone to understand what you're upto. If you show me one link where it says that touching the antenna doubles internet speed then i'll believe you.

Actually touching the antenna may help, as antennae can use you as a sort of extension, increasing the range. If you want an example you can try yourself, get a FM Radio with a largish antenna, tune to an FM station that you get bad but listenable reception from, if you back away from the radio you may find the reception gets worse, as you aren't there to help boost the antenna's range, but if you touch the antenna it will do one of the two things: ruin the reception completely (the reception of the fuzz next to the station will get better and overpower the weak signal of the station) or improve it (the weak signal is strengthened).

However in relation to an Internet connection I doubt it, and if it were the case that touching it improved speed then moving closer to the wireless router or hot-spot would have the same effect, the way KBC is saying it is almost like the extra speed comes out of nowhere, and I'd doubt the increase would be that big even if it did improve it.
