The Android Discussion Thread

Yep..Rooting doesnt introduce any kinda virus.

Confirm? , I surfed through net about this but most of them saying Virus will be easily entered into our mobile after rooting. So I'm confused wheather to root my Mobile or not.

Nah....there is no new virus on rooting. It just unlocks the extended permissions of Android required to modify the scripts, kernels, properties or a whole new ROM.

100% confirm? If yes I will root my mobile.

I have not used an android phone/tab , is rooting like jailbreaking ?

Yeah Rooting and jailbreaking are same. The term rooting can be used for Android Phone whereas the term Jailbreaking can be used in IOS phone.

Two questions:

1. I want to buy FIFA14 and Stick Cricket game modes from Google Play, do I need a credit card?

2. My new phone keeps saving stuff in the internal phone memory instead of the SD memory though the latter has 1GB remaining, how I redirect them to the SD memory.

My phone is HTC Desire 816, thanks. :)

Yes. Or you can buy google play gift cards and redeem those.

By default all apps install to the internal memory. You can shift some of the apps to the memory card by going to settings>application manager> [name of app] > move to SD card.

1-Yes,a credit card is required to make purchases on GPlay.
2-Usually the apps menu in the settings.Just tap on the name of the app you want to shift and there should be a button saying'Move to SD card' or something like that.

Not only apps, even photos, videos and other downloads. Everything I download from WhatsApp/internaet goes to the phone memory.

It's got Android 4.4.2 though.
