Picking bowlers for their batting is always a pretty dicey endeavour. I'm not saying I disagree by any means, just that it's a bad situation to be in.

Given that the floodgates open once Root and Malan are out, I don't know if they would risk the strategy of picking the four best bowlers, whoever they think they are. Overton or Bess seems more likely if they were to change it up.
