Its like a chess match and very very tense! England will need to post at least 300 in their second innings to get something from this game....but they arent just being knocked over like everyone said....not yet at least.... they will rue a few moments perhaps when they could have really pushed the advantage: 240 for 4 and had the Aussies at 80 odd for 4.....to be fair its a tussle between two good teams at the mo....and Smith is a class apart....refreshing has been roots captaincy : very original and always looking
Australia's top order is a big, big, big worry. When Shaun Marsh is the second highest scorer in the top 7, there are serious concerns. The pitch has been surprising, resembling sub-continental conditions but that has only enhanced this game.
With the ball starting to turn, I would still put England in the driver's seat. Let's not forget any total in the excess of 250 will be difficult on a fifth-day turner, especially with the likes of Marsh and Khawaja in the XI.
That was a poor shot from a batsman like Cook. This could easily be the wicket of the match. England really need to hold up well and not loose any other wickets. This is test cricket at its finest.
