Hi, I'm Rashid Singh, a young Indian-English cricketer, I've devoted my future to English cricket and I'm delighted to have signed for Hampshire CCC. I've met Shane Warne and all the other great players, and I'm looking forward to a good year, I know I won't get into the first team every match from the start, but when I get my chance I hope to cement my place with some useful performances.
As a cricketer I am a solid middle order batsman who has been developing his bowling a bit, I can get the ball to swing quite a long way but at the cost of some accuracy. I'm a useful slip fielder as well, a bit like Flintoff, but not as explosive with the bat. I hope to really develop my play this year.
Hampshire are in Division 1 for both the Championship and the National League this year, and our first training session of the year is about to start, next up is our big Championship opener against Durham at Chester-le-street, I'm off now,
