You should have put Aravind at the end of the list, because that now takes a pick from me.

Alas, I'll just forgive you and move forward.
I have just swapped all of the icyman picks with aravind. No one is snatching anyone's pick. If it wasn't Aravind, then icyman would have picked anyway before you.

Sunil Narine winner of two T20 world cup's with 21 bowling average and a hard hitter with bat.

I agree. I think the better XIs here are the ones which have players that actually played good at world cups.

The Jimmy pick still makes me chuckle.

Don't think having Johnson in the same team as Warner would have been a great idea IRL right now. :p

I didn't pick either BUT you're right, JOhnson v Warner: Civil War!

Ah so he is inheriting Icys team and picking the last few picks?

I need a spinner and one of the best world cup winning leggies and, Mushtaq "Mushy Myth" Ahmed!

@Verified Enigma Can we have a post wherein we can see how all the XIs are building up? I know you update the picks but having the XI too will make life a little easier for those on mobile phone to find which players have been picked.

Is it my chance to pick now?

With all the good bowlers being picked up real fast, I thought I would grab my last bowler before it's too late.

While we already have a well rounded attack with the likes of Starc, Vaas, Kapil, Hogg and Yuvi all of whom have excellent world cup record, I guess we still have the luxury to add someone who brings in something different.

Hence, comes in the fiery Shaun Tait! A man who can bowl 160 clicks and has picked up almost 2 wickets a match with 34 wickets in just 18 games that too at ODI WC strike rate better than the McGrath, Lee and Bumrah to name a few. T20I WC economy rate under 6 (!!) too.

He is the x-factor that bolster our already strong bowling attack.

Good luck facing Vaas/Starc at one end and Tait from the other.

Javed Miandad is my pick. Played a joint-most 6 World Cups and was Pakistan's best batter in '92

@Aravind.

Rahul Dravid will be my proxy pick, he was top run getter of 1999 world cup with 461 runs at average of 65. In 2003 world cup he scored 318 runs at average of 63 and he also kept wickets.

Dravid is a brilliant pick. He was a beast with the bat @99 WC.

I can't believe I forgot about Warner. I must have had a black out haha

I was trying to keep all players in their actual/best positions but no worries, happy with that top 4!
