Let sanga finish his career first then i'll judge. For me in Tests:
1. Sobers (reliable, hit 6 sixes in an over, a good bowler too making him a superb all-rounder)
2. Graeme Pollock (his first class average his phenominal and from what i've seen on old tapes of his international career he was breathtaking to watch)
3. Lara (what a player to watch but unlike tendulkar in the mid-90s couldn't win games for his weaker side which is why he's 3rd and not first).
ODIs:
1. Lara (good number 3, great records anddidn't have the greatest team nor a tendulkar or dravid as back-up).
2. Jaysuriya (innovated the hitting/slogging style seen attempted today, for a very long time was the only threat in the SL team with the bat, a fantastic record and a real game winner)
3. Ganguly (opener though not all of his career, 11000 runs, good average and set up good victories. His 184 against SL in the 1999 world cup was awesome).
EDIT: Change of heart- Lara is 2nd in tests and Pollock is 3rd...
