Google really tried its hardest to give me correct answers here, until it got to result number three.
Yes, it's the new format you know and might love (I don't think Yash does tbh), returning for round two, ODI style! As of my calculations, just over 3000 players had played in a One Day International match, and the bands will be as follows:
10% | 94 or more appearances |
20% | 54-93 appearances |
30% | 33-53 appearances |
40% | 21-32 appearances |
50% | 13-20 appearances |
60% | 8-12 appearances |
70% | 5-7 appearances |
80% | 3-4 appearances |
90% | 2 appearances |
100% | 1 appearance |
Like the last draft, your 11th man can be any uncapped player - but there's a restriction added: they must have played at least one OD or T20 match. No picking Bradman here. However, there are other... good loopholes... if you think laterally.
As with last draft: Statsguru is your friend. This draft isn't high research unless you don't use it. As many people as possible are encouraged to apply.
This won't start until the Test draft is done, but signups are open now.
