The Ordinary Draft - ROUND 5

Next up is an :eng: English player haunted with things. Very tough things, mentally speaking. A bowler and also a batter? Someone who could've been as good of a geography teacher as a Cricketer. This is a testament to his career's performances.

People said, "Why is he playing?" and "Oh… actually, not bad Innit?". He had his moments. He was not the most elegant player but he did the job on his moment, moments.

The bloke represented his country in 28 ODIs. Averaging 51 with the bat and 20 with the ball. Averaging 20 with the bat and 51 with the ball.

Unfortunately his peak fame moment came, when he left his World Cup side mid-tournament due to... 'Depression'. Now I'm depressed :/ Anyways...

I was very close to picking him.

The American leg spinner who always played for the West Indies, Hayden Walsh jr.

Completely unplanned pick. I first thought of a role most limited overs side have these days and my mind went to a leg spinner. First, I checked Cremer but realized he wasn't that bad. Then someone remember this guy. Pretty sure he has a fifer against Australia.

:sri: :bwl: Pramodya Wickramasinghe
109 wickets @ 39.64 (econ: 4.53, best 4/48) in 134 ODI matches

An accurate fast-medium seamer good enough to rack up over 170 caps for his country across formats, it is exceptionally hard to call Pramodya Wickramasinghe ordinary in any context other than international cricket. Too often, his team gave him the role of a token seamer in a team built around spin.

@Viper.

Initially felt he was more on the crap side but he is solid in the shortest format and actually started off promisingly, I think he fits the ordinary bill very well now

Reeza Hendricks will open the innings, as SA's most ordinary ODI batsman of the last few years, averaging 27.1 after 38 innings.
