The PlanetCricket.org Mafia - End game

"He knew he was an important one but played it safe for the night."

What I gathered from this is, maybe he is Vigilante ? With town aligned ? He wasn't sure who was mafia, so he didn't risk lynching someone as they could have turned out to be townie.

swacker was CerealKiller, vanilla townie, town aligned.
O dear, not the start we wanted. At least he didn't have a power role, so we still have them in play. Hopefully the ones that has these roles used them well last night.

Hey come on, do it!

I thought you knew how to do it. I can't.

Whatttt? I can't either. Wtf!

So now what?

Do what you know, I will do what I know.

Done.

Done. Now sleep!

Not entirely sure, but this can mean that the two in conversation here doesn't know how to ban people. Thus there must be another person in play that did the ban of swacker. Your take on these guys?[DOUBLEPOST=1494744371][/DOUBLEPOST]

It could also be that the vigilante (Town aligned was blocked)

Feels bad to see myself getting banned.

I think from the writeup it's clear that there are two Mafias, one without killing powers, an anti-town third party and a pro-town roleblocker. There was only one ban, so one must've been blocked by the latter.

So we have two people who seem to be clueless which could mean they are the latest sign ups to the site and with PR. Hence the confusion about who would do what and how. And this also means Rudolph's theory of a third person in play makes sense.

But they did something. I did note that both acknowledged carrying out their night act which makes me believe that the theory of one with nightkill action and the other without it is not true.

And oh yes. We do seem to have one player who played it safe. This is definitely a pro town move as anti town wouldn't hesitate to carry out his night act.

I'm going with zwarrior on this. Might be a vigilante.

I think Mafia cannot Ban people but they have some different roles which they have performed. If that's the case the ban was imposed by Town Vigilante.[DOUBLEPOST=1494777775][/DOUBLEPOST]I still have my doubts on AliB hence.
LYNCH ALIB.

Hope swacker doesn't get dissuaded to take part in future mafia games by his death on night 1 on his return game.

Just had a crazy theory what if people are being banned automatically, Mafia cannot select them but every night one of the town person is banned randomly?

How can you reach that conclusion? Unless you know something we don't...

Mafia team of two. One probably got roleblocked. It could be a nightkill role, could also be something like a silencer since we're talking about bans and such.

He knew he was an important one but played it safe for the night.

I'm guessing a vigilante.

He had just returned from his vacations and wanted to enjoy his time on the site but someone had different ideas. As he was sleeping peacefully he heard a click and knew someone had opened his profile. Before he could do anything, the 'Ban' button was clicked and he was permanently banned and sent to the banned users forum which tbh didn't actually exist anymore. The work was done for the night!

As I suspected, I think it's a hacker like role, I'm guessing it's an SK.

As I said yesterday, Rudolph would be one to look at at night. Since then, he has come after me for saying that and tried to shift the blame onto me. Before that, he passed his call for a mass roleclaim as sarcasm (which, admittedly, I bought). The only two people in some kind of actual conversation yesterday were me and swacker, and the only person involved with us was Rudolph. What are the odds that he decides to do the exact same thing I pointed out to be wary about, just to keep himself off the radar? And, I know I've agreed with him, but he was the first one to suggest that there was a third party role. It could be very possible that he used his knowledge to provide sound analysis from a townie point of view.

The dots are there, but I can't be sure if we can connect them. Thoughts, anyone?
FOS: Rudolph

From reading the conversation User posted that both can't do something and User telling this game is advanced.
So just because it's advanced people will be killed randomly? Really?

Simon, I'm not targeting you, I haven't even mentioned you today. Why are you trying to through me under the bus. Again you are defensive for no reason...
Personally I think there is a third party present here, not with us but against us ... the fact that the two individuals in are clueless as to what to do is a clue that they didn't do the ban. It's possible that one of them blocked a town vigilante and that the third party followed through with the ban on Swacker ...
zwarrior is way to quiet today , perhaps he can give a reasonable insight.
