Welcome to another RNG draft! In this one, it's a standard Test RNG draft, where you can pick any player for any position. But pick carefully.
This draft, you must submit the position in the batting order the player will occupy with your pick. This is simple in early situations - put Kohli at 4, put McGrath at 11 - but what happens in the last round if the roles are reversed?
okay to be fair only you yourself can answer that one
RULES:
1. I'll filter Cricinfo's search to include all players from notable nations (this should be fairly obvious).
2. This will result in an x amount of pages (for this draft, ytd).
3. For each participant, I will use random.org to generate what page they may select from.
4. I'll DM each participant with their options. They havea week 48 hours (due to the fact this draft must be done by April 15) to DM me back, and must also include the position in the batting order in which the player will bat.
5. Everyone's RNG list, and pick, is revealed after all picks are complete or after a reasonable amount of time, and the next day the process repeats.
6. Each player you select must bat at the nominated position. If your 6-11 is filled and you get Courtney Walsh, choose someone else or bat him at 5.
The only selection rule is you can't pick a player taken by another team already. Though with over 500 pages to choose from, you'd be ridiculously unlucky to have that happen to you.
Note: the link to the relevant Statsguru filter for anyone who wants to scout (or for me when I inevitably forget it) is this
Just put a message into this thread if you're interested in playing. I'll start either with eight signups or in four days' time, depending on which comes first. Due to the unique nature of this draft format (by which I mean the order is not a thing), signing up will be allowed until the first round of results are posted in the case that we have more than eight.
Good luck; may the numbers ever be in your favour!
