When I find a news article I tend to post it in the thread to which it relates. So the hypothetical example of a news article talking about Brendon McCullum's use to the NZ test side, I would post in the NZ tour of India thread. There's no need to create a whole new thread on it.

Well went through all these posts and only one thing really comes to my mind , the C07 forum is pretty much being spoilt by the asian members(hopefully not me ) through suggestion posts like "Avoid text speech" ; "Use the thanks system" ; "dont bump into old threads" to the newbies. They just focus on increasing their post counts rather than preserving a clean thread. All they need to do is click the report button .So by creating separate forums for the asians, i think its the asians who are the eventual losers having been deprived of the basic manners while posting

I know that this topic has been already discussed before but I still feel that constructive criticism in cricket07 forum is really less. Members hardly use thanks button in cricket07 forum. If a member is told by other member to use thanks button his reply usually is "I am appreciating his work ". Then the member who warned him would thank him for that post.

I am aware of the fact that these kind of posts make the download makers happy ( as their work is praised) but we can't avoid the fact that it does bring lot of spam to cricket07 forum. If cricket07 forum can't be closed, few rules need to be changed.

The problem is that some flinging SC people believe that they are born to break the rules. They don't care. They just love lurking around worklessly on the forums and commenting "u gr8 facemaker! i loves you!:banana2:happy:hpraise".


Suru is one example of how annoying one can get.

Remove the following emoticons from the site:

Just change it back to what it was on April Fools, any mention of Sachin becomes Chris Martin.

That way Sachin fans can talk all they want and it will at least have a humor element for the rest of us.

I hope C07 gets closed/merged to Old Cricket Games section. The game is already 4 years old and it's still placed with newly released cricket games. It's the main source from which new members are coming.

It should be up there as people are still modding it heavily. Just some strict moderation is needed and people with heavy egos should be shown their place.

But how ?? Just by deleting posts and filling in the appropriate reason in the reason column ?? On an average basis, there are 4-5 new members spamming in cricket07 forum everyday and the life only gets unimaginably tough for the mods to delete each and every post and provide a reason.

By strict moderation I mean, infractions and bans.

Almost all the mods who have moderated there have been shown their ways - to the mental asylums.

Something has to be done or this is getting ridiculous. Graphics forum is another place where people are hell annoying. Someone can take up that job...

Graphic forum is still far far better than cricket07 forum.
