Story The TT Lion's Journey, the "Original" Battrick Story.

End of Over 45: 236-8, runrate=5.24
Drayton 8-0-42-4
Leary* 57 (41 balls)
Findlay 4 (8 balls)

I'll post a end of innings update after five overs, including wickets and bowling analysis.

Final Update:

End of Innings: 270-9, runrate=5.40
Atkinson 10-0-33-2
Small* 6 (3 balls)
Leary 68 (52 balls)

A big total, hope we can chase it down...

Wickets:

3.1 W Drayton to Carruthers
Plays defensively, but the ball moves off the pitch and takes off stump out of the ground.
9/1

4.2 W Atkinson to Maynard
Big appeal for a run out, he has to walk after they refer it to the third umpire
13/2

9.3 W Drayton to Burke
great ball, totally deceived Burke and he's bowled
29/3

9.4 W Drayton to Sullivan
Slight movement away from him and a thin edge is taken by Fallon, tumbling away to his right.
29/4

10.6 W Atkinson to Loxley
Oh that's magnificent! Cat-like reactions from first slip to take that catch. They'll be replaying that one a few times in the studio.
36/5

19.5 W Wilkerson to Winters
A simple catch for 2nd slip and he's gone. That really was a terrible shot, there was no need to go chasing that ball.
82/6

31.1 W Wilkerson to Gomes
swished outside off-stump to a short delivery, top-edging to a grateful Atkinson at third man
137/7

42.4 W Drayton to Stannage
big appeal for lbw, it looked like he got an inside edge, but he's been given out! Oooh, he's not happy with that one!
217/8

49.2 W Atkinson to Findlay
edges a ball on a good line and is given out.
263/9

We got off to a good start, but a couple of fifties ruined the effort:

28.4 4 Crouch to Gomes
Full ball, but it's hammered away for a one bounce four.
And that's his fifty! Well played.
39.6 6 Wilkerson to Stannage
hit the ball so hard at the ground it had to be prised out!
And that's his fifty! Well played.
44.1 nb6 Drayton to Leary
no ball, picked up well over cows corner
And that's his fifty! Well played.

Bowling Analysis:
Atkinson: 10/0/33/2
Drayton: 10/0/60/4
Wilkerson: 10/0/77/2
Leonard: 10/0/47/0
Crouch: 10/0/44/0

Wilkerson was as expensive as Gamble used to be, if not more :(...

10 over batting update coming up.

10 over update)

End of Over 10: 66-1, runrate=6.60, reqrunrate=5.13 (270-9)
Findlay 5-0-24-0
Greenwood* 39 (28 balls)
Cox 22 (31 balls)

Last Wicket: Delop b. Small 0 (FOW: 1/1)

Wickets:

0.3 W Small to Delop
went for another big one, beats the bat and leg stump on the ground
1/1

An early wicket :( , but we haven't looked back since :) :

Shots:

0.4 4 Small to Greenwood
pull shot middled, four runs right off the bat

0.6 4 Small to Greenwood
A thinnish nick seemed set to be caught by Loxley but it dipped on him at the last and rolled away for a boundary, Greenwoods giving Small a very wry smile.
History repeats itself:
9.1 4 Findlay to Greenwood
A thinnish nick seemed set to be caught by Loxley but it dipped on him at the last and rolled away for a boundary, Greenwoods giving Findlay a very wry smile.

4.5 4 Small to Cox
late cut, into the gap over a bwd point boundary

5.4 4 Findlay to Cox
Short and picked up early. Four through mid wicket.

6.1 6 Small to Greenwood
The crowd always enjoy the big hits, great shot.

Not a bad start. Lets all hope we keep this up :upray

Next update in ten overs.

good going zorax. I also won my match yesterday by 53 runs. It was my first match. A good start.

20 over update)

What a ten overs! We are right on top :)

End of Over 20: 129-1, runrate=6.45, reqrunrate=4.73 (270-9)
Leary 5-0-24-0
Cox* 50 (59 balls)
Greenwood 70 (62 balls)

Wickets:

None :):D

Highlights:

First, a few fifties:

15.3 6 Leary to Greenwood
Attempts to get it in the blockhole, but instead it turns into a full toss which is slapped high back over his head.
And that's his fifty! Well played.

18.4 1 Stannage to Cox
gently worked around to mid wicket region
And that's his fifty! Well played.

Greenwood has done superbly. The batting sessions are paying off. Hope this won't be a one off fluke.
Cox is a consistent as ever. Hope he keeps this up for the whole season.

Then a few shots:

11.5 4 Leary to Cox
He seems to be batting by numbers. We?ll have a four this time please!!!

12.6 4 Small to Greenwood
nipped back, forward, solid drive into the gap at mid off, well placed

15.3 6 Leary to Greenwood
Attempts to get it in the blockhole, but instead it turns into a full toss which is slapped high back over his head.

16.3 4 Stannage to Greenwood
this time he finds the gap past cover and extra cover, no sweeper to do the fielding

18.3 4 Stannage to Cox
Opens the shoulders and cuts well to deep backwards square.

19.4 4 Leary to Greenwood
Waits and runs it away to third man.

Next update at the 30 over mark :)

A note: This partnership is now worth 128 runs, and is going strong. Also, if we win, this will be our highest succesful runchase.

Thanks for the reply. The first ones aways seem easy. Watch out for the cup matches though :) . Which region are you in?

A small pre-update update: Runs are drying up a bit, but still ticking in at 3-4 per over, as the RRR requires. Greenwood is nearing his 100...

I am playing in Punjab(India). I hope to do well in cup matches also.

Top effort zorax, but i have a question about this game, is it versus computer or other users?
