Yeah. Attapatu wanted to give a bad spinner some confidence (eg. Murali) so he let him bowl at the tail. :D :p. I am playing on Test Level (The hardest level) and when I bat it is hard to score runs but they make it look so easy.

:cheers for the replies. I hope you are enjoying reading this story.

Windies got absolutely hammered

still, there's always next innings :D

Attapattu Departs For 49 - 1/80

It was looking grim for the West Indies but with Attapattu on 49 he looked as nervous as Schapple Corby on the day of her case. Mervyn Dillion decided that yorkers would be the best method to get out a settled batsmen and his tactics paid dividends. Attapattu survived a fairly plumb LBW shout but Dillion got rewarded and it knocked out Attapattu'######## stump flying. The next man in is Mahela Jayawardne.

Attapattu 49 (77) SR: 63.6
Jayasuriya 29* (78)

Collins 0/12 (7)
Best 0/22 (7)
Edwards 0/25 (6)
Dillion 1/21 (5.3)

Additional Information:

Overs: 25.3
RR: 3.16
Extras: 2

Attapattu is a dissapointed man after giving a way his wicket on 49. Below is how he lost his wicket.

Nice Story mate.. but why arent you posting any ingame pictures of RPIC? because i wanan see how it looks :p never saw :D

Thanks Kookaburra and Farrukh for visiting my story thread. If you don' know Farrukh RPIC (Ricky Ponting International Cricket) is the same as BLIC (Brian Lara International Cricket). I cant post in-game pictures because I am playing on PS2 and digital camera pictures is out of the question. If you want to see in-game screens of RPIC or BLIC type that in on Google or Yahoo :D.

Do you guys have any suggestions on how I can improve this story? I will gladly consider them.

49 Is An Unlucky Number For The Sri Lankans - 2/147

What a way to go. Sanath Jayasuriya is the second Sri Lankan batsman to be dismissed on for 49. They say in cricket that 87 is an unlucky number (13 away from a 100). Jayasuriya was playing some fantastic strokes until Dillion pitched the ball full on leg stump, it should have been whipped away but Jayasuriya only played it back straight back to Mervyn Dillion who excepted it with pleasure.

Jayasuriya C & B Dillion 49 (140) SR: 35
Jayawardne 43* (65)

Collins 0/20 (10)

Jayawardne Departs - 3/148

Mahela Jayawardne has become the 3rd Sri Lankan batsman to depart with more then 40 and have come up short of a 50. Dillion seems to be ripping up this attack and he give Jayawardne a full ball and he came foward and tried to block it but it hit him nearly on the top of his pad and he started walking even before the umpire put up his finger.

Collins 0/20 (10)
Best 0/21 (8)
Edwards 0/36 (9)

The West Indies have had another collaspe in the second time in this match. Bennett King (West Indian Coach) days are numbered because not even star player Brian Lara is performing  :help. If it doesn't get better for the Carribean side Sri Lanka will easily win the Test Seires.

Gayle C & B 12 (18)
Joesph LBW Zoysa 2 (15)
Sarwan B Vaas C Zysa 14 (8)

Best LBW Zoysa 0 (3)

Sri Lankan Bowling Card:

Nuwan Zoysa, the stand out bowler in this inngins. Wickets and econmical, what else could you ask for in a bowler?
