I think he'd make a bad goalkeeper too. I mean have you seen the number of byes he gives away sometimes? it's almost like he's straight out of the bugged Cricket 2k4 game!

Rashid Latif. The question is only wicketkeepers right? Not wicketkeeper-batsmen. If you take purely on ability Latif is the best, Gilchrist only beats him if you take into account his batting. And I am disregarding his temprament and politics too, just taking into account ability purely.

Chris read is the best keeper ive seen against pace. Its difficult to tell if he's a good keeper againt spin because (no disrespect to giles) he doesnt present a bag full of triks like saqulain, warne, kumble or harbhajan for example
