It was only a matter of time for you really. I'm surprised it took the Admins this long. Congratulations.

Pakistan in a good position but lose 4 wickets

Pakistan 65/4 after 9.0 overs

Pakistan are in a good position even though they have lost four important wickets on a good batting wicket to be 65/4 in 9.0 overs. First to go was Shahid Afridi, who was caught at mid off early in the innings. Inzamam was also out in the same over, making it 8/2 in the first over of the innings.

Salman Butt scored a few runs along with Younis Khan before Butt was bowled through the gate by Tuffey. Younis Khan was run out in an unfortunate manner by the wicket keeper Brendon Mc Mullum!

65/4 in 9 is not competitive in 20/20. Guess the Black Caps have the upper hand now!

Pakistan all out for 144

Pakistan all out for 144; Razzaq scores quickfire 41

Pakistan produced a better display in their batting to post a total of 144 which gives them some chance of a fight in this match against the Black Caps, New Zealand! The chief architect of this display was the Pakistani all rounder, Abdur Razzaq who scored a superb 41 off 30 odd balls to take Pakistan to such a position which they would easily taken when they were 65/5

After they were 68/5, Shoaib Malik fell LBW to Tuffey for 8. It was a controversial decision as the ball seemed a little high for the liking but the umpire ruled in favor of the bowler, prompting a big stare from Malik. But he had no other option but to go back to the pavilion! Kamran Akmal gave some support to Razzaq at the other end and also in the process stroked a few useful runs before he was out for 10, bowled through the gate by Tuffey. He went to the big hit but couldnt quite connect it to be out! Mohammed Sami was atrociously run out for 1 when he couldnt quite back up at the crease and was run out by the gully fielder! Shoaib Akthar swung his bat for a few very valuable runs before he was done in by a superb catch by the captain, Fleming. Last to go was Abdur Razzaq who was bowled for 41 when he went for the big hit!

Darryl Tuffey was the best bowler for New Zealand and ended up with 4 wickets! Tuffey and Butler were the most expensive in the end as Razzaq tore them apart! Now Pakistan need to make sure that Razzaq and the contribution of the lower order doesnt go to waste by bowling New Zealand out within 143!
