I've been quite busy lately. I sold Karl Barker, a veteran for my team after he was just pedestrian throughout the season, for ?2.3 million. And in return I bought Johnny Brough, an identical copy of Barker, but he's a spinner for ?2.2 million.

The worthless Consistency stands out, and he won't be that much use IMO. Stick him on a fielding net if you can.

I don't think I will sell him yet, but it would be pretty easy to get a good new trainee spinner and make a big profit. In that regard, I think I will wait to the start of next season before considering it.

It is just that time of the season that my squad is getting filled with players.Some of my crap players will say good-bye next season and their replacements are coming.The only reason the crap players are there is to make sure we loose the play-off game.

Ok, I'll spill the beans. Basically I was after a bowler (Quality bowling with Superb Cons and Stamina) and he was such a great bowler I really wanted to get him. I didn't have enough money and decided Muir was probably worth more in money than his value to my team, so on the market he went. Or he would have done - I got a message saying I couldn't list him as I already had the minimum squad size of 14. Off to the market I went and bought the fastest ?1000 player I could (having been outbid on a staright worthless with a single figure BT rating!) to give me 15 players, allowing me to list Muir and hopefully getting the funds I needed. When the bid came in on him, it gave me about 3.8 million to pay for him.

Bloody bowler went for 5

But I might as well sell Muir anyway. He's not good enough to get runs in my league and the longer I keep him, the lower his value becomes as he loses trainability. I should have a bowler by the end of the season.
