Muir will start at no.8 for me, if I get him, and I think he's a pretty good guy to have at that position. At the moment I have a guy who's respectable batting and mediocre secondaries, and he isn't up to much though he's decent. He's averaging 16 with a strike rate of 75, which is poor.

In fact, I've just decided to change my stratergy.

Yes, it was. I have a 17 yr old trainee spinner who was being trained intensely, now not so much. He's usually back to energetic fitness now, so I'm fine with that. In my league you need to have good bowlers to survive. A mediocre or competant bowler will be killed. Hell, with my team I'm struggling to be in the top four of my Div.4 league!! If I was in the lesser countries I'll be cruising in Div.2 or 3. My morale is pessimistic and my team fitness only moderate. If they were both ecstatic or better, I have no doubt I'll be cruising in the PC league. It doesn't help matters that my best batsman only plays at 'lively' fitness either.

Not worth that much IMO - he's almost a combination of Muir and that backup bowler you sold. Current prices on them put him at 1.2 or 1.3 million.

Yes, but an allrounder will be worth much more than two different guys with the same skills. He's a good allrounder too, good bowling AND good batting. He's got the stamina too.

Come on guys. K Potter is very good. You won't get better allrounders for this price. He'll probably walk into most teams as a bowler or a batsman alone, and it's not like he's just popped. QUICK!!
