That's good value for money if you get him for ?200,000. I reckon he'll sell for 500k. Btw, any one interested in Potter ?

LH Batsman, LFM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A cautious player with feeble leadership skills and feeble experience.
Stamina: respectable Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: abysmal Concentration: mediocre
Bowling: quality Consistency: respectable
Fielding: abysmal

Say hello :D

Bought for ?3,557,690. I've been following the market for Superb/Quailty bowlers for weeks not and this guy was an absolute steal. I was expecting him to got for 5 million plus, so 3 and a half is incredible. He'll be debuting on Sunday :) I'm expecting much better ratings as I no longer have a noticably weaker bowler - before I could get higher seam by playing the 5th bowler as a spinner, or visa versa - hoping for Resp Resp, maybe higher. He'll have one bowling net, should be remarkable late next season, at which point I'll stop, maybe bung him on a fiedling if I've got a spare.

Wouldn't have been able to afford him without selling Muir, and that's fine on the basis Muir won't last long against him anyway :p

It's because he wanted to sell a player but he had only 14 in his squad which meant he couldn't. So he bought the cheapest one on the transfer market as quickly as possible. I do it all the time.

There's already a bid on Devins for 300,000. He's a good batsman, with decent stamina, concentration and fielding. He even has mediocre keeping and going by his wage he's quite close to popping to proficient. Go get him!!

Come on guys. Two players up for sale. A proficient/mediocre all rounder selling today for 150,000, so get bidding! (Matthew Nahal)

Also, a respectable/mediocre bowler with good stamina and keeping (if ever you need it) is up for 200k. (Inesh Hamed)

got this guty for 1k,just thought I'd boost my squad again. Not the best secondarys but he's better than most i've got.

Goodness me, thats a monstrous bowler! He will probably rip through my batting line-up this Sunday! The battle of Harley vs. your Alder should be very interesting! :)

Stamina is important.
Compare this bowler, with superb bowling skill and no stamina
http://www.battrick.org/nl/playerDetails.asp?playerID=892857

To this player who is straight competents.

The first guy is 4 levels better at bowling, but he's just a vegetable without any stamina. It doesn't need to be high, but it needs to exist. Sure you can train it, but in the time it takes to get the stamina up to a good level, you could save up and buy or pull several better players.

Feeble stamina is a good starting point. You can quickly train it up to a good level, but you can also get away without training. A guy like this shouldn't be too hard to get cheap. It's getting harder, though.
