he's going to be a first teamer for you for as many as 5 seasons if you wish. Only last season did I buy a keeper who had good enough batting to score runs against my opponents bowlers, I generally don't place too much emphasis on their batting as long as they can do the glovework. But you should try to have it that your keeper isn't your worst batsmen, if he is, it shouldn't be by a huge margin.

I was planning to 5 net a batting pull I got from my academy, but I got a pretty useless pull (Base Med/Med/Med), so instead I went to the TM and picked up this fella for 120K:
