Uni ftw

I've received offers from Leeds and Manchester so far :) . Manchester looks good. The big guns - UCL, Imperial and Cambridge - are yet to respond though...

Manchester is fantastic. I'm not actually in the city centre, but nearby. My friend goes to Manchester Uni, and she absolutely loves it. Activity and things going on all the time.

Which course did you apply for Adarsh?
I am pretty close to sending my app for Chemical Engineering.
Anyone here, know what the degree is like or know a chemical engineer?

Congratulations but not really surprising when you got like 15 As at AS

Well, there's still competition from 4 other geeks per place etc, and the interviews are very nerve wracking, as is the wait for the letter. Plus, a lot of luck. Either way, I'll take it.

Doing Natural Sciences (Biological) at Camb. Great course, allows a lot of flexibility. Intend on specialising in the 3rd and 4th yr into biochemistry. Might do the exchange programme and go to MIT in the 3rd yr

My cricket career might take off now.

Great news, Adarsh.

Let us know if you need any help, Adarsh. I know someone who used to lecture Biology and he'd be happy to help out. Also know a Geneticist, if you ever dabble into that.

And, Adarsh, I know someone in Travel.....erm....yeh, i don't think you'll ever need my help.

Congrats and good luck!
