Victoria Bushrangers - ICC Story

INTRODUCTION​



We have seen a big change in the county cricket scene which has seen Durham go broke in it's short period of being a county side in England. The club has fallen through, and only 3 of it's players were snapped up whilst the rest linger in the wilderness. Those 3 players are Stephen Harmison and Jonathan Lewis, moving to Derbyshire, while Paul Collingwood has been signed on with Kent.

This has added debate as to what will happen to the competition with 17 teams. A resolved idea was bought up and has immediately gone into plan. The 18th spot has been offered to an International domestic team in the Southern Hemasphere, as to play games through their winter. The Victorian Bushrangers were given the all-clear and their side will play 12 months of cricket, with the Australian winter being there main competition over in England.

Note:Using the ICC 2002 instead of ICC 2005 it allows me to use the editor 'magpie' and I have fiddled around and focused on bringing you Victoria Bushrangers domestic season against the county sides. Some time has gone into this so hopefully everything is successful.
 
SQUAD​

Most of the Bushrangers have followed up this great chance and have flown to London. One player who will not be playing for the Victorian Bushrangers County Cricket Team (VBCCC) is legend skipper and Victorian Shane Warne. He said that because he was contracted to Hampshire, he has decided to stay with them as there no.1 international player. Brad Hodge has declined a contract with Leicestershire and will play with the Bushrangers.

The captain of the Bushrangers will be up and coming spinning all-rounder Cameron White. He is set for a big season and as a young player is set to take the challenges of captaining a side at such a young age.

With 6 rookies on the list, and Shane Warne out of the side, the Bushrangers decided to promote one of the players. Spinner Michael Robinson was selected due to his hard work and because he can fulfil the role as the spinner along with captain Cameron White.

Well, i decided to get rid of Durham, and put Victoria in for them. To do this you just use Magpie, which is the editor for ICC 2002...remember, this is 2002 and not 2005

Go..The Derbys! Dean is one of the better bowlers in ICC!
 
Interesting Story. Hodge definatly did come back down to earth with a thud. I like the presentation. Nice and simple. Much like the cricinfo scorecards. Well done best of luck with it
