Geez WI are going to be in for some thrashings come the group stages. We really should have organized a warm up or two instead of playing 7 matches in England.

Kieran Powell :D

This guy is the next Chris Gayle, I've been impressed with him ever since I saw him in the under 19 world cup. Easily the best batsmen at that world cup.

Shows how poor WI cricket is with their B side. Not being able to defend 300+ against the Cape Cobras.
Also shows you some of the pitches are going to be belters.

Thank God for that, if they lost to that team of no namers then they may as well go back home now.

The Cape Cobras side is a proper franchise team with quite a few SA A team players in it. North West is not a franchise team. Those are B and C grade young players

New Zealand's pathetic batting strikes again, they lost their last 6 wickets for 10 runs.

Longer tail than usual causes this, happy with the game so far though. Taylor, Guptill and Elliot showing good form, as well as Tuffey picking up all the wickets so far. Don't really mind if we lose this, although it would be good to get a win under the belt.

Shane Bond, Daniel Vettori, Jesse Ryder and Jacob Oram (I presume) all being rested.

At least our top order scored some runs, our tail basically started at six. Looking at Tuffey's form the bowling line-up should be:

Bond
Mills
Tuffey
Vettori

And then Oram, Elliott and Ryder to fill in the rest.

Howsie added 4 Minutes and 47 Seconds later...

The West Indies aren't doing to well against South Africa at the moment, SA are 162 without loss. Gibbs did retire though.

Butler has just cleaned up with 4 wickets, might push Tuffey out again.
