PRE-MATCH SHOW WITH OUR COMMENTATORS, ( Including Pitch Report, Weather Report, Team Line up and of-course the Crucial Toss)

TONY COZIER:

Well i welcome u all back to this exciting series and for the fourth Digicel test match here at Guyana. We have new commentator who has come all the way from England for this series. I welcome Bob Willis.

BOB WILLIS:

Well thanks Tony very happy to be here amidst u all for this exciting series. Hope we once again get a cracker of a match.

TONY COZIER:

Well the big news today is that Mark Richardson has announced his retirement and will not be playing anymore. Cairns too has suffered a harmstring injury and will not play this match.

BOB WILLIS:

Its a big set back for NZ and Cairns was in such a good form, I wish Richardson all the best for his future.

TONY COZIER:

Well there is likely to be many changes in the lineups of Both the teams.

WEATHER REPORT

MARTIN CROWE:

Well its a lovely day here in Guyana, the temperatures r likely to be in the early thirties and humidity is abt 60%.

Perfect day for cricket, back to u Tony Cozier

MICHAEL HOLDING:

"Well Good Morning everbody, I love this wicket over here mates, It looks hard and bouncy with a nice tinge of grass cover at one end, and on the other there is some cracks which may come into picture later, Hope to see the captain winning the toss to bat first".

CRUCIAL TOSS COMING UP FOR THE FOURTH TEST.

TONY COZIER:

Well the all important toss is going to take place and Lets join Bob Willis down with the 2 captains and Match Refree Gundappa Viswanath.

BOB WILLIS:

Well here I am with the two captains, and Match Refree, Stephen Fleming is going to toss the coin and Lara has called heads. And heads it is.

Well Brian whats ur decision.

BRIAN LARA:

Well Bob looks a good hard pitch and we would like to put the runs on the board. The r changes to the team, Jacobs isnt feeling well and Baugh will take the field.

STEPHEN FLEMING:

Ya I would have loved to win that, but anyway we have to do our duty, and I hope the boys stick it out there. There r many changes to the sides.

good luck

should be a cracking test

west indes will be giving it their all to draw

Well its been a action packed first over bowled by Bond with gayle hitting two fours and WI were off to a flier.

Jacob Oram Shared the new ball in the absence of Cairns and bowled a tight over.

Cairns will be missed

A very lucky start by gayle. Besides lara, i feel gayle is probably the man that can swing a match for the windies. Loosing cairns will hurt New Zealand as he is such a quality batsman and a front line strike bowler. The west indies still dont appear to have a top quality seamer which will make it just that bit harder to knock over the new zealand batting order. Hopefully fleming will again make some runs to ensure the match is tight. My vote is still with the west indies here.

Great story thread champ. You continue to impress, and i continue to try and keep up with your standards in my story.

I agree.

Also good start by WI despite all those slip changes that went begging.
