NZ have been bowled out for 326, WI take 4 runs lead


Well NZ have been bowled out for 326 runs giving WI a 4 run lead and with just 15 min to go for lunch on day 3.

Resuming from overnight score Mcmillan continued his good innings and reached his fifty and played some rousing strokes after that.

Well soon Lawson broke the 8th wicket partnership when Mcmillan ended his innings by holding out to the fielder.




Then vettori helped NZtake some more valuable and runs and Tuffey was dismissed by Edwards.

Vettori was the last man out as he was bowled.

Well WI have done the job of bowling out the Kiwis and taking a lead and they have job of playing the 15 min leading to lunch without losing wickets.

BOB WILLIS:

Well yes Tony they should just think positively about it.

Well the pitch has so good and still u see the scores of the team in early 300 any reason for that Bob.

Well the pitch is so good that batsman from both teams have played far too many shots and got themselves out.

Well WI have 4 overs to go for lunch and have really done well to negotiate the 4 over spell by the Kiwis and r into lunch with score 10-0

Gayle made a wonderful start to his innings and there was four byes from Kiwis side.

WI in trouble with 2 early wickets



Well WI r in trouble losing their first wicket, in way of a run out, and really what a gift for the Kiwis, Smith who went for a second run which wasnt there was run out.

Smith run out.

Sarwan joined Gayle at the middle and Soon got a cracker from bond that came in from an angle and moved away only to crash into the stump

Well Lara and Gayle have steadied the things and with half an hour to go for tea on day 3 WI are 51-2, Lara 18*, Gayle 25*

WI had a good partnership going after the early loss of Sarwan and Joseph, Gayle was in ominious form driving and pulling the bowlers with ease.

Lara was in his self more disciplined and comfortable at the crease.
