Wow thats pretty good.

I like the way "Digicel" in West Indies's side is Maroon, and in South Africa's side is Green.

Thats a nice touch! :)

Astle props NZ innings with a fine innings.

Nathan Astle propped the Kiwi innings with a fine unbeaten 81* of 89 balls to put the Kiwis in a safe position at end of 30 overs, the Kiwis are 188-6, Gayle was the succesful bowler to get 4 wkts

Astle played a solid compact innings as he really put the WI bowlers in their place with a magnificant 81*.

The WI bowling other than Gayle was ordinary, with seamers really going for plenty.

Astle though played some fine shots.

Gayle took the only wicket to fall at that period of play as a settled mccullum played across the line and was plumb in front of the wickets.

NZ finished the 30 overs with 188-6 with really astle holding the key

this would of been an excllent score for NZ if they had not lost more 3-4 wickets

Bob Willis: Excellent effort there from Astle to put NZ in a decent position after the spot of bother they were in. Other than that the WI bowling has been pathetic. far too many wides and extras really creeping, may be a record in that sense would be created.

Tony Cozier: Well indeed the performance of Gayle has to be appreciated and really the spinners are hard to get away on this track. shame the WI bowlers didnt utilize the green top provided, now the pitch is fine for batting
