Clint McKay has been dissapointing, offers nothing more the Watson does with his bowling. We need Hilfy back.

do you know what was even better? I was at the ground today. I woke up this morning and thought, "todays gonna be a special day" so had 30 minutes to buy tickets and get ready and off to the cricket i went. I was also at the ground to see Johnsons 5 wickets last year. I pick em good ey?

I'm glad to see Gayle decided to get some KFC Big Bash practice in for WA today. Should be interesting to watch.

another ton for the windies with Gayle.

what odds would you have got that they would have hit significantly more centuries than australia before the series? 4-0 now. and i wouldn't be too surprised if sarwan goes on here, he's a good batsman when he gets in. australia surely must put their first on the board in the second innings.

EDIT- If Benn gets a match ban and Haddin & Johnson get away, I believe someone needs to donate Chris Broad a set of eyes

Well Benn deserves his, Haddin probably does too. I don't see what they can do to Johnson.

Is Hilfy injured? I think so because I would prefer him over McKay

Yea injured since the 1st test.

I went to sleep before the mayhem. I was up for about 20 hours yesterday. Great innings by Gayle, would have been nice if he had gone on to make a even bigger hundred but for the 1st time in a long time the openers got a good start. Dowlin looked good, too bad he couldn't go and make some more runs.
Sarwan needs to keep going and make his century because the job is not even half way done.

Benn was provoked there by Haddin. And the right message is not sent to the world if the provocateur gets away. I believe Haddin should be taken to task.

As for Johnson, they were showing visuals in the news of him pushing Benn. If that is indeed true, he should get a fine.

tbf, a lot of the new members of this australian side are quite unlikeable. I think a symptom of that is they are expected to replicate the success of the old team, or rather just don't want to be the generation of mediocrity after such great success.

but they all seem to be a bit too quick to incite opponents. There have definitely been more incidents of bad sportsmanship since warne and mcgrath retired than there was before, and it's all the recent members (watson, symonds, hauritz, siddle and haddin in particular. punter and clarke have also been a bit questionable. punter arguing with umpire over awarding de villiers his ton in south africa was cringey)

North is exempt, he's been the find of this next generation for me. Katich's return has been good as well and johnson isn't usually too bad.

North was found a little to late. He's already 30, which is late even by Australian standards. Great player though. Too bad, they didn't select him earlier in his career.

Hes got the height factor and usually has better control than Watson. It was just Gayle who took all the bowlers apart and put them off their length.

Ban sledging too then?

Is that what your arguing?

Benn had the real problem, a few words doesn't mean anything, Benn just kept getting agro when he should have walked away.

Benn didn't do much wrong other then the showing incident with Johnson. He didn't even make contact with Johnson on purpose. He pointed his hand and Johnson who was walking over to talk to Haddin walked into it by accident and then Johnson showed him with his elbow.
Benn will get the worst of it but Johnson and Haddin should get punished too.

Haha I knew you would reply Dare :p

Johnson is a strange fellow, people say he's shy in nature, so when he tries to show aggression, it looks all wrong. Remember the Johnson/Broad stare? That was tweaked out.

I think out of the 3 Haddin will get of the easiest.

If you look at it without Aussie bias :p Then Haddin's just as much to blame as Benn is. IMO there was no need for Haddin to get involved when Johnson and Benn got in a tangle, it was just stupid on his behalve and pointing your bat at someone is beyond stupid tbh.

Benn's be chirpy all series and him "running" into Johnson obviously set Haddin off. Both Haddin and Benn should be fined imo but Johnson should get a harder punishment.
