Stop having a childish mentality of "oh mum but he started it".

Haddin did nothing wrong.

The over began with an accidental run-in between the bowler Benn, who was moving across to field a drive, and the non-striker Johnson, who was taking off for a single. The contact seemed incidental, with neither man at fault, but Haddin appeared to inflame the situation after completing the run, when he pointed his bat at Benn

Just keep telling yourself that.

Sulieman Benn faces a potential suspension after being charged with a Level 2 ICC Code of Conduct offence for bringing the game into disrepute following an incident with Brad Haddin and Mitchell Johnson at the WACA. Johnson and Haddin have also been hit with charges but at the lower Level 1, which carries a maximum penalty of a fine of 50% of the player's match fee.

If found guilty, Benn's penalty could be a one-Test suspension, however the more likely result would be a fine of 50 to 100% of his match fee. The three men were cited by the match referee Chris Broad after the second day's play, during which an eventful 118th over of Australia's innings ended with a physical clash between Benn and Johnson.

The right result for mind.

I think a fine would be the just punishment for all three. Wasn't serious enough for a ban IMO.

Reminds me of the Gautam Gambhir situation last October.

Inflaming the situation?
Haddin was the starter if I'm not wrong...
CricInfo commentary is very dodgy...

By the rules, Haddin did nothing wrong to get punished.

As for Johnson, they were showing visuals in the news of him pushing Benn. If that is indeed true, he should get a fine.
Uhmm are you joking, you say you saw it on the news but you dont know if its true :sarcasm it was either on the news or it wasn't

Bahahahah then neither did Benn, at least nothing to deserve a match ban. If I'm not wrong Johnson was the one that pushed Benn.

They kinda pushed each other looking at it from another angle.

Benn DID something wrong, and that was continuing to cause trouble whilst the Aussie batsmen wanted to get out of it.

What trouble was he causing? I hope it didn't hurt the people to see a little emotion on a cricket field. His finger pointing might have gone too far but all the yapping was fine. Aint the first time it happened.

I believe Benn pushed Johnson, and the Johnson pushed Benn away.

Wouldn't mind if Hussey got a ban :laugh

What is your problem with Michael Hussey, Gazza? Yes, he may be past his best, and yes, he is having a form slump, but there's no need to start hating him! Do you actually even support Australia? Or do you just watch hoping Hussey will get out, and then cheering when he does, because that REALLY annoyed me that you aren't even supporting Australia, just hoping for him to get out.

Did you see the incident? Even the commentators were saying that Benn's contact with Johnson was incidental. He pointed his hand towards Haddin and at that time Johnson walked in and bumped into Benn's hand by accident and then they showed each other.
