Its following the same pattern as last years match. We had a lead into the 2nd innings and most of us were wondering when to declare. Then suddenly SA took that out of our hands like WI have done here. Will all come down to Gayle. Still McKay and Hauritz are handy with the bat, a handy partnership from them would be good but that would also indicate runs are easier to come by.

I don't know what to feel right now, that the pitch is getting harder to bat on or our horrible batting display.

I will miss out on most of the cricket tommorow, thank god tbh :laugh

Once again test cricket proves it can be darned exciting!

Especially the anticipation of what might unfold on the next day is what adds to the excitement. You don`t have that in any other sport.

In some of the aerial angles it actually looked like the pitch had a rough line right down the protected area. There's a beaten look to the surface and that may be aiding in the production of things such as reverse swing and extra turn, neither being traditional characteristics of the WACA.

Thats right. The fact that things move from session to session with one or the other team being on top! Just fantastic that a game can be played over such a long time span of five days and still be so intriguing!

McKay can bat, he's better than Hauritz actually. Even in those few balls he faced notice how solid and confident his defence was, he's is not a typical tailender. He's played some really nice innings this season for the Vics.

I don`t consider golf a `popular sport` in a conventional sense of the term. Davis Cup tennis actually has some similar charm to test cricket sometimes when the rubber is tied at 1-1 with the reverse singles and doubles scheduled for later.

Watson scored in England. And Watson is only 28.

You`re ghey Gazza. Not only did you defend a failfag like Watson, but rate him higher than Mr.Cricket (who is second to only Hughes).

I lose all the respect i had for you, not that i had any in the first place.

*runs and points middle finger*

Golf is insanely popular.

It is but can you really compare the dynamics of test match cricket to golf in the terms of the length of time in which they are played out. I am sure golf is very exciting though I am not a fan myself but it seems to have a different dynamic to it than test match cricket, which is obvious as they are totally different sports. That was the comparison he was trying to make I think. Anyway it is fantastic that in the modern days of everything beings so fast and instant a game is played over the course of five days that has the time and space to chop and change so dynamically from one side to the other.
