Hmm, hoping that Siddle can come on and bowl at least a few overs even if he has to sit the morning session to rest up. Let's see.

As much as I would like to say this is possible, I'm fairly sure this is against the laws. The other thing about that is, if he was to sit out the morning session and be able to come on after lunch, he has to wait a certain period of time before he can bowl again. I think it's the overs, so assuming Aussies were to bowl 25 overs(I could be wrong and it could be time, but it works both ways in the same way) in the morning session. He then has to stand on the field of play and be active for that same amount of overs before he can continue to bowl. Overall, it's a hard logistical situation to over come, but it might not be worth it in the long run to try it.

He could just rest at fine leg for the morning session and not bowl. Plenty of ways to give him not a lot of work on the field.

I think in limited overs cricket you have to wait however many overs you missed and in Test cricket you have to wait out however much time you missed

for sure, and its a good rule as well.

I think Australia have a better chance of winning this one than Windies :laugh, can easily see windies getting bundled out for 150 and Aus chasing down 200 odd on day 5

They aren't going to rest him and then bring him back. If he can't bowl in the morning, hes next to no chance of bowling for the rest of the day.

Gayle gives no one respect, if the ball is in his zone he will smack it as he showed yesterday when taking Johnson for 11 runs or whatever it was. Might as well see Watson can do with the new ball but won't happen.

As for the replacement, if we win it would be McKay else they will probably go the safe option with Clark to make sure we don't suffer an embarrassing series loss or a draw.

Gayle is similar to Sehwag. Buth are hitters. Doesn't matter what format of game, who the opponent is and what kind of pitch. We need stuey clark, this Siddle is doing nothing. Ben got 5fer, is the ball spinning already ?? I thought it would start from day 4

Lol funny to hear Benn's explanation. He thought one of the guys were having him on by hiding the ball so he continued bowling.

Surely Australia has to give Katich a bowl sometime today, I actually like watching him bowl tbh.

99% sure there was no edge. Good decisions all around. Especially with Australia's typical ridiculous over-appealing
