It didn't hit the boot. It hit nothing. Hautitz knew he didn't touch it so why appeal. Because he's a cheat.

Here we go, Ponting wastes another appeal. All gone already.

Ponting looks edgy and frustrated. Glad he wasted those reveiws, hope they get a shocker now

Hauritz can clearly be seen when running to the huddle pointing at his left hand and shaking his fingers, why would he be doing that if it touched his boot?

Bad call IMO.

Howsie added 1 Minutes and 18 Seconds later...

3rd umpire saw it hit his boot, end of discussion.

You in contact with the 3rd umpire are you?

Really hope Gayle gets a big one here, and a quick fire 50 from Bravo. Windies already done a lot better this match than most gave them credit for pre-series

What a waste from Sarwan was looking good against Hauritz. Shoudlve just gone hard at it, looked like he was in two minds

WI need to calm down here, they got allot of time to play with. Baraths run-out probably shouldn't have been and Ronnie just played a bad shot. With Gayle at the crease this can become fireworks or WI 3 down before they reach 100 runs.

WI have circum to two unlucky/soft dismissals, Barath was very unlucky with that run out probably should have been more alert and Sarwan played a bad shot though it was a very good ball from Johnson. Chris Gayle is looking very comfortable at the crease and saying that he just reached his 50. If the Windies are to get a good total here I reckon Gayle and Chanderpaul will both need to stay in and bat well. The Aussies will then face the tough task of chasing down a total probably around 300-350 I reckon, which the commentators mentioned can be a very dooming task at the Adelaide Oval.

Gayle and Chanderpaul need to get the lead to at least 200.
