Suleman Benn better make up for that with the ball, cant believe he played a shot after wasting all that time! If Gayle can add 25 more runs tomorrow then Windies have a decent shot.

I was just reading the first two pages of this thread, wheres Hooper these days haha. He was so adamant the West Indies would be thrashed 3-0 and would prove to be non-competition.

Gayle has played a very fine innings just a shame that no one else has really been able to back him up from the other end. If the Windies can score another 50 runs tomorrow then I think they'll have a chance to draw the match though if they want to win they'll have to bowl extremely well. If the Aussies can get these last two wickets early tomorrow then I think they'll have no problem chasing down the Windies total.

Woah, big call and going right against history.

I wanna know what happened to all the people telling me the Aussies had the upperhand. People didn't want to agree with me when I said after the first days play that the West Indies had the upper hand. Now they're in the best position. They can either choose to go for the win or can bat themselves into not being able to lose. Could possibly do both. But time's running out.

Doug Bollinger gets cited for kicking the ground... Saw this on TV and it was not a big deal. Is the ICC trying to eliminate all character from the game? Soon they wont be allowed to smile without being fined. Pathetic.

Surprised Siddle isn't in trouble for his constant out-bursts in the 1st innings :laugh

Yeah, I was quite surprised when I heard on the news that a total of 300 or so was the highest fourth innings total to be chased down at the Adelaide oval.

It'll be a good day of cricket tomorrow and it'll be interesting to see how the match results, at the moment I'm leaning towards a draw.

I guess it depends if you were surprised by the last wicket partnership in the first innings. I don't think anyone was saying that 450 was a bad score, just that being 6/336 (and even 9/383 early on day 2) made it a touch difficult to get there. Indeed, had that last partnership even finished on 400, the Windies would be stroking their beards a tad at their prospects of not losing tomorrow.
