West Indies' tour of India (Feb 2022)

Really liking the approach from Venkatesh Iyer. A left hander having a ruthless batting approach and someone who can bowl few overs. He is all the ingredients that India were lacking. He is averaging about 40 in T20Is.

Absolutely criminal to drop easy catches like that! I do not even know what Bhuvi is doing in the XI when Siraj warms the bench.

Poor catching. Looks like the Wi have a clear momentum here.

Kohli surprisingly looked calm and Rohit looked tensed.

Remember the name... Rovmen Powe....

....nevermind
I see what you did there!

Well eventually he did prove what he was doing. :p

Well played West indies and Powell especially. They got so close…

While that was a great over, this has been happening with him more often. He delivers rubbish 3 overs and redeems himself with 1. I am not against Bhuvi, I am just saying that we have better T20 bowlers now.

Rishabh Pant, the Player of the Match: I am fine wherever the team wants me to bat. I think all of us inside the circle were waiting for it but in the end it was Bhuvi bhai's catch. I think the more you practise, the better you get [on his pick-up shot over short fine leg]. It's never easy playing continuously with bubbles but when I started playing, this is what I wanted to do. I think Powell was hitting bullets out there but at the back of the mind I was happy as well because he will be playing for Delhi Capitals.

DC captain has spoken! :p It was too close in the end. The dropped catches hurt us but nice to keep winning. I heard Virat might rest for Sri Lanka T20 series, I really hope he does not. We want a set XI playing T20's till the WC. Pleased to see Venky playing those innings (2 in a row now). Lets wrap this up 3-0 and move onto the Lankans.

If the DC management is smart (which they probably are) they'll have a very serious thought about playing Powell in their starting XI. The man has seriously worked on himself as a cricketer and looks more well rounded now.
