What would be your squad for world cup 2015?

No NZ squad so far so here is my team

1. Martin Guptill
2. Tom Latham
3. Kane Williamson
4. Ross Taylor
5. Brendon McCullum (c)
6. Luke Ronchi (wk)
7. Daniel Vettori
8. Tim Southee
9. Trent Boult
10. Adam Milne
11. Mitchell McClenaghan

12. Corey Anderson
13. Nathan McCullum
14. Kyle Mills
15. Anton Devcic
Bit surprised Anderson isn't in your 11. I would drop Guptill and promote McCullum to opener and slot Anderson in at five.

Pakistan 15-Men Squad of my choice:
  1. Sharjeel Khan
  2. Ahmed Shahzad
  3. Sarfraz Ahmed (WKB)
  4. Umar Akmal (WKB)
  5. Fawad Alam
  6. Shahid Afridi
  7. Sohaib Maqsood
  8. Yonus Khan
  9. Umar Gul
  10. M Irfan
  11. Junaid Khan
  12. Misbah-Ul-Haq
  13. Saeed Ajmal
  14. Zulfiqar Babar
  15. Yasir Shah
"The Complete and best Squad!"

Think the England squad basically picks itself now

1. Cook
2. Ali
3. Taylor
4. Root
5. Morgan
6. Bopara
7. Buttler
8. Woakes
9. Broad
10. Tredwell
11. Anderson

12. Finn
13. Jordan
14. Bell
15. Hales

I wonder if the 15 left out would give the England team a decent game. Some may argue they'd do better at a WC. The team would look like

1. Roy
2. Vince
3. Ballance
4. Patel
5. Bairstow
6. Wright
7. Stokes
8. Bresnan
9. Plunkett
10. Parry
11. Gurney

Surprising that one scoring 264 in an inning has been neglected.:p

Surprising that one scoring 264 in an inning has been neglected.:p

That was one amazing innings on an Indian pitch (same goes for his 200). He is a mere mediocre player when the pitch isn't a flat track.

Edit: His overseas record in ODI in the last 2 years: here

He has only 4 half centuries in 25 innings at a mere strike rate of 64 odd.

Now let dissect the facts further: His average in Australia, and his average in New Zealand . Admittedly, he has only played a handful of games in Australasia but the stats don't lie.

I think I would let Matthews to lead the side.

12th man would be Trent Boult/Kane Williamson/Joe Root(for the english)

Kane should be the number 4 below Kohli. He is in sublime form with 9 half centuries in his last 10 innings.

I think the Australia team is the hardest to pick. Purely because they have so many quality one day players to pick from. Living in England, I don't follow Australian domestic season that closely, but I've watched a fair bit of the Big Bash. This is the side I'd pick

Warner
Finch
Watson
Clarke
Smith
Bailey
Haddin
Johnson
Starc
Harris
Lyon

Faulkner
Maxwell
M Marsh
Hazlewood

Can any Aussies tell me if I'm way off?

I would change Harris to Faulkner (also put him at 8) and Maxwell for Clarke seeing as though Clarke probably won't be playing.
