Venkatesh Prasad. Even Marlon Samuels bolws quicker than him. But the answer would be Steven Waugh, I guess. If I am not wrong he has nearly 194 wickets in ODIs.

How quick was Kapil Dev? I suppose he might qualify for the most succesful medium pacer; of the modern era, anyway...

Kapil Dev must have been faster than Irfan, and Irfan is a Fast-medium according to Cricinfo.

Irfan was fast-medium a couple of years ago. He's slowed down to almost medium.

He started out as a fairly quick bowler and bowled some incisive spells in the West Indies in particular, but he had slowed down a lot by the time he retired in 1993-4.
