Warne glad not to face Australia

Shane Warne told channel 9 that he was kinda delighted not to be facing Australia in the World Championships. Since Australia are holding the series it would be a nightmare if Australia were to defeat England, Warne thinks he might be in for a little ride from the crowd. Althought Warne was a legend of Australian cricket, he believs making the move to England, might be a bad way in their minds.
Warne is happy not to face Australia, but is now looking forward to the chance in his 1st coaching experience.

Warne talks on Pietersen
Shane Warne has given Kevin Pietersen the chance to start at number 4, instead of 5-6 where he came in at the Ashes series last year. Warne says that Pietersen is a much better player then coming in at 6, they need him in there early to make some runs.

Panesar Wants to impress coach

Spinner Monty Panesar came out and says that he wants to impress coach Shane Warne on the World Championship series in Australia. Panesar came into the England side missing the first 2 tests of the Ashes in Australia late last year, and now has cemented his spot in the 11 again for the World Championships. Warne has taught me alot, about spin bowling, and now i want to show him i can turn that into a best on ground performance.
Warne says he has great confidence in Panesar, and says he is a player to watch out for. He is dangerous when he is on song, but when he struggles, he struggles bad. But i wont expect to much from Monty in the 1st few games, but hopefully he can pull some wickets out of nowhere when we need them.

Shane Warne and Michael Vaughan Press Conference No' 2

Editor: Now Shane, that was your 1st outing as England coach, what did you think of the end result?

72864257.jpg
Well in the end, we only lost the game by 2 runs, so if you think about it, i couldnt of asked for a better start, i mean yes obviously i would of like to win the game, but in a loosing sense, it couldnt of been a better loss.

Editor: When did you start to think, we have a show here?

72864257.jpg
I always thought we had a show, really, umm to be honest i got concerned at the start of the match, you know loosing both Strauss and Cook, our opening batsman so early in the innings always worries someone, whether your me, the coach, wether your Vaughany as captain or wether your just another spectator in the crowd, loosing 2 early wickets is always gunna trouble you.

Editor: Now Vaughan, the move with Peitersen coming up the order in the batting, is that a good move by Warne?

72941416.jpg
Oh yes, of course it was, you saw the way Peitersen played out there today, he was on fire. He has been waiting to play up the order in the batting lineup for sometime now, and he has finally got his chance. Fletcher always thought he was a better player around 5th batsman, but Warne has figured Peitersen out, and moved him up to 4th where he did play better, him and myself find each other good to play with, so we put on a solid partnership. I put on 62 and he put on 70, so we had around a 100+ partnership which i thought was crucial. I saw Strauss and Cooky go out early, so i thought geeze, me and Peters better come out and start smashing the run rate up a bit.

Editor: Now Shane, it must of been hard for you, 1st outing as coach, making moves, adressing the players before they went out and batted, was that difficult?

72864257.jpg
Umm no, not as much as i thought it would have been, actually it was pretty easy, although some of the nerves before players go out and bat were pretty sky high today for some reason. But no, it was calm for myself and the players most of the time. It only got a little intense when Strauss went, 2 wickets down early. Actually probably the hardest thing i found was not getting out there and playing, haha, that was very difficult, usually in tough places like that, Punter would of put me into the mix and probably bowled 5 or so overs, but i cant do that this time, although i so badly wanted to.

Editor: Well thankyou to the both of you, for chatting with us, look forward to our next press conference.

mate don't plagarise other people's ideas... a story exactly the same as this was made at another site, and now this bloke, who has several alias's here, and on that other site, has just gone and copyed the other story!

Yeah that sorta pissed I didnt know cricinfo did stories ;)

But yeah this guys copied that story and he aint replying to the comments of copying lol!

On the forum with a link in my other post, he does this all the time, but mainly makes a story for two pages then quits. We all got annoyed at him, so then he made heaps of aliases to make more stories then he got temporarily banned and came here, when he was banned as sum0005, he made roofrom50, a cheap rip off of another guys name on the other forums. And that's his story
