lol i was just looking at the stats, and found something very odd. I was looking at the most runs of 1 over stats, and Monty Panesar was in there, he hit 20 runs off 1 over. And also i was looking at most sixes in a match, and Monty featured again with 2 sixes.. Monty is on fire.

We were bombed out of the final games. We missed out on the finals by a game

Shane Warne and Michael Vaughan Press Conference about the World Championship Series

Editor: Now Shane that wouldnt of been the result you would have been looking for in the end, but are you happy with the teams progress, you only did miss out on the finals by a single game?

You know its hard to really say, 1 mind says, well done boys, we did well to get as far as we did, and yet the other mind says the complete opposite, you know like, we could of done better, we are better then some of the teams that did make the final 6. But at the end of the day, i think we tried the best we can do, and it stays at that.

Editor: Now Michael, you yourself played a great tournament, anything special, that came into your mind? Any stand out players, or players you thought might of performed better?

There are always parts of the game we would love to work on, we watched Australia in the B's when the finals were happening, and the way the field its just astounding. There play for each other, there are no brilliance individuals in that team, maybe accept Ponting, but they work together. Michael Clarke, Andrew Symonds and Michael Hussey are 3 of the best fieldsman going around at the moment, because they enjoy fielding, they make fielding fun.
That's one area i think we can improve on.

Editor: Now the World Series is up next, any changes to the side Shane and Michael, what plans to you use this time?

I dont think there will be many changes, only probably just ones that get injured along the way, but i wouldnt think anyone would be dropped.

Yeah like Vaughan said, i will have to wait and see what happens during the time off. But i wouldnt be suprised if the same team/sqaud runs out in the World Series.

Editor: Well Shane and Michael, thankyou for talking with us again, looking forward to talking with you during the World Series.

Can ppl comment on how i am going, the good the bad.. i like comments on my story :p

World Series Compettitors

England
Australia
West Indies
South Africa
New Zealand

The World Series compettion will take place. England, Australia, West Indies and South Africa will take part in the compettion. New Zealand comes in warm favourites after winning the World Championships earlier in the year. England come in with confidence, after just missing the finals for the World Championships. Michael Vaughan says there wont be many changes in the team, except from maybe injuries, but we will have to wait and see what Warne decideds. England will face a number of matches 1 after another.
Going from 1st of Jan until the 17th of Janurary, England will have to battle 8 matches during that time. Can England take out the World Series?

can i ask, how do i put a poll on this story?

Dont worry about this post, thanks to Brett_Lee, i figured it out.
