Bangladesh vs England Game Summary

England won the toss and elected to field/bowl. Bangladesh were up batting 1st, the pitch was in fine condition, it was a hard pitch so the ball was going to bounce early. Shane Warne and Michael Vaughan Press Conference no' 3

Editor: Shane, you have just picked up your 1st win as England coach, it must feel good after 2 defeats.

72864257.jpg
Yeah, it certainly does feel good now we have a win under our belt in the Championships. But the job is only half done now. We still have 3 games to go until the finals, and i think we need to win all 3 games to be apart of the finals. We have Pakistan, West Indies and Kenya still to play, now all of those games will be a challenge, but certainly those first 2, we will need to play our best cricket.

Editor: Michael, where did Kevin Pietersen come from, 4 wickets? Not known for his bowling

72941416.jpg
Yeah well, training has taken its toll then i guess, every time we train i see Shane, Monty and KP working on the spin bowling, i mean obviously because Shane is the best spin bowler the world has seen. But he came out there today and showed how much Shane has shown both Monty and KP. As you said, KP isnt known for his bowling has always been noted as a batsman, but today showed he can play either role just as well as each other.
I am also happy with Monty's development, he took a brilliant catch earlier today, dismissing J. Smits, bowled by Pietersen aswell which made Smits go out for a duck, now Monty has put his hand up to play closer to the action, and what does he do, he dived about 10 meters to take that catch, it was a classic.

Editor: Well, well done on your victory, hopefully to see more in the futre.
