Remaining Fixtures (Group A)

10/03 SRI v ZIM
13/03 CAN v NZE, AUS v KEN
14/03 PAK v ZIM
16/03 AUS v CAN
18/03 NZE v SRI
19/03 AUS v PAK
20/03 KEN v ZIM

Kenya can't qualify for the QFs, they can pick up a maximum of four points and the current fourth placed side (Australia) have five points.

Canada would need to beat New Zealand and then Australia, and need Kenya and Pakistan to beat the aussies as well. Or win their last two games and hope Sri Lanka lose their two remaining games. The chances of either Canada or Kenya beating Australia are remote so I think we can pretty much rule the Canadians out.

For Zimbabwe to have a chance of qualifying they'll have to beat Sri Lanka on Thursday, Zimbabwe can still make it to eight points but would need to beat Sri Lanka, Kenya and possibly Pakistan to have a realistic chance of going into the last eight. If Zimbabwe did beat Sri Lanka then New Zealand doing the same could mean a Zimbabwe win over Kenya would dump the Sri Lankans out. Just can't see the zimmers doing it though, more's the pity as it might make the group a bit interesting

The teams going through to the next round are fixed in this group. Australia, Srilanka, Pakistan and New Zealand. The only thing that remains is the order of the group.

Not sure the order will matter much beyond the top team who may face England/Bangladesh.
