A disgraceful batting performance by the indians. theyre going to have to do some serious thinking after this game. playing a team like canada and losing 7 wickets chasing 74 for a win is unacceptable. coach chapell and captain dravid will need to get the boys in line for tougher competition.

here's the competition india will be facing. with the exception of the netherlands india have a huge task ahead of them in order to qualify for the next round. india go on to play sri lanka in their next game and it will be interesting to see what frame of mind they're in after a disasterous batting display against the canadians.

Vaas to open the bowling for sri lanka, Vaas started off with ball 1: a beauty outside the off stump as tendulkar could only play and miss at it, ball 2, 3 and 4: consecutive unnsuccesful appeals for lbw, Ball 5: sachin defends it down the ground, Ball 6: sachin's had enough, ball was drifting down the leg and tendulkar plays a beauty down to fine leg for four!!
