Tsotsobe adds strength to pace attack

x350.jpg

Neglecting the bunch of morons who have been consistently bidding on the big names - Watson, Kallis and others, Maroons again have signed a surprise deal, Lonwabo Tsotsobe, for $550,000. Tsotsobe was seen at his zenith during the Indian tour of South Africa - bagging 8 wickets in 2 matches - in ODIs. He will undoubtedly add strength to pace attack of Maroons, who have already found an opening bowler in Ryan Harris. "I am bored to say anything anymore, these interviews are absurd,"
Varun remonstrated.

Current Marvel Maroons squad

1. Dinesh Karthik - Wicketkeeper
2. Hashim Amla - Batsman
3. Ryan Harris - Bowler
4. Lance Klusener - All rounder
5. Lonwabo Tsotsobe - Bowler

Auction purse : $5,830,000

Thank you MJ Rocks.

@Varun: That's a superb buy, probably the best one till now. :thumbs

Yellow Submarines rope Yuvi

Indian big hitting all rounder Yuvraj Singh today followed Mitchell Johnson's footsteps to become Youthful Yellow's 4th signing for this season's WPL . The couple join Ryan ten Doeschate and Stuart Broad . Yuvi becomes Yellow's record signing at present going for a whopping $ 1.5 million . Glad after his capture , owner , Haarithan said " I thereby announce the fact that the Yellows have added 2 sensations in Mitch and Yuvi to their already impressive squad . Yuvi as we all know is the biggest power hitter on his day and Mitch adds pace and aggression to our team . All i can say is watch out fellas , the Yellows are right here to win it all "

Other may have thought. Was he drunk?. Well the answer is yes. Tim Paine has admitted that he added rum to Dipak's cola during the auction and thus he bid so much on him. Paine was that desprate to me in my squad. Dipak stated. He has forgiven Paine for the incident as he was about to pick him anyways. He also told us that he is a blasting opener who can torture the bowling attack and an able keeper who can keep stumps during the game or the gates during night.

@AkshayS,

You said that you would not have bid any higher. Yet during your article about you signing Tendulkar, your coach said that he was worth more than that.

So if i had upped my bid, there would have been an argument within your team as Kirsten would have wanted to bid more but you weren't going to.

Sounds like relations aren't good in your team at the moment.

Well that was not like that, Kirsten's real feelings were of respect towards Tendulkar. He said that Tendulkar deserved more than it, IMO too he deserved.
But keeping in my the total money and team balance, Kirsten had agreed not to up the bid anymore since a team can not be formed by just one person.

BREAKING NEWS: Gary Kirsten Rumoured to be quitting Sizzling Silvers

According to sources, a problem has arisen between Sizzling Silvers owner AkshayS and their coach Gary Kirsten over the signing of Sachin Tendulkar.

When announcing the signing of Tendulkar, Kirsten said that Sachin was worth more than that, and that they would have paid more for him if necessary. However a post made by AkshayS on Planetcricket.net earlier today said that he wouldn't have raised their bid for Tendulkar had rival bidders Infinite Indigos gone any higher.

Kirsten's problem is that he is not confident that AkshayS has the confidence to raise his bids when the money starts going up and is now seeking an exit from the Silvers.

More to come on this as the story develops

Rivals Indigos are just tying to distract us - Akshay

After an exclusive totally false rumour from Harrisb, the manager of Infinite Indigos which contained some utter ████ that Kirsten is leaving Silvers over the selection of Sachin Tendulkar, Akshay hastily spoken in defence of his team management and Kirsten's role and relationship with the team players and management.

sachin-tendulkar-gary-kirsten-2009-11-4-8-41-44.jpg

Akshay said, "Kirsten is going nowhere, he is totally concentrated on the player auction and making the new players feel comfortable in this tense cricket environment. He is working really hard with the team management to buy the right balance of players and to train them efficiently. Kirsten is a very focussed man and he is not diverted by these silly mud rumours. He is going nowhere, I repeat."

Akshay added,"other teams are just trying to deflect us from the path such as Reds recently. Rivals Indigos are just trying to distract us and I swear they won't be successful ever, ever. They are just afraid of the progress of our team, they know that we are capable of making it big. They are lucky that they are not in Group B, else they would have been decimated by Silvers in their campaign."

He added,"Indigos management makes false claims, Kirsten and I never said that"
that they would have paid more for him if necessary.
