Last 2 series he's been excellent with the gloves. Has shown notable improved, not dropped a catch and letting through far less byes. One of the best all-round keepers in the world, if not the best atm. Excellent with the bat, and showing marked improvement with the gloves. Liking his selection alot.

Stuart Broad is also in there as a bowling all rounder. Also, while Swann's stats may not be flattering, he bowled magnificently and was unlucky not to get more wickets.

If your picking a world XI wouldn't it make sense to pick the 'best pure keeper", it's not like his batting would be needed. Dhoni and Prior are far from the best keepers and they would most likely only contribute a quick 30-40. Same goes for your four bowlers.
