World Test Team

You pick enough Indian players there Manee ? Also, Pietersen, Sangakkara, Tendulkar and Ponting to name a few are all much worthier of being in a world team as opposed to Laxman and Dravid. Hayden's better than Cook aswell. Also, Steyn, Lee, and Asif are far better than Rp Singh and Sharma. Very strange choices there Manee. Shows that you watch far more Indian cricket than other countries as some of those choices are ludicrous considering the other performing players in world cricket.

edit: Woops, only just realised you were trying to make a better team than Griffo. You failed.

Well, it wasn't easy. I've put Asif in for Sharma, I guess I didn't think of him at the time.

I think that's a better attempt tbh, far more exciting team than yours, your team has to have the most dull batting order possible between Smith and Dhoni. Jayawardene should be in instead of Laxman, far better and more stylish batsman. Also, Mohammed Asif is a far better bowler than RP Singh. It's not easy though, you made a good attempt !!

Laxman is massively underrated. He averages 47.23 where I put him, Jayawardene rarely bats at 6 and does well in all continents or countries. He is pure style, how can you call him dull. Asif is in my team already, you probably didn't see the edit.

Jayawardena averages in the low 30s abroad.

I'd rather have Paul Collinwood in my test team.

waaaat dude come on, Jayawardene averages over 52 in tests and for my money is a much better batsman than Collingwood. i like collingwood and all i think he is a good player but just not as good as Mahela.

Well this stat is good enough for me, Collingwood can also pick some wickets, one of better fielders in game.

I'd rather have Mahela any day of the week.

yea he has owned India, England and South Africa the only teams that have had his number are Australia and surprisingly Pakistan.

Yeh, strange that Pakistan have the edge over him, he's only managed 1 hundred against them in both forms. He's a quality player though, far better technically than Collingwood.
