What??

Dravid opening? He has struggled greatly when he has opened. Fleming has retired from international cricket and shouldn't even be in a world XI if he was still playing. Afridi? Dont think so much better players than him, Pollock has retired from international cricket and Flintoff hasn't played a test for a while now. You don't have Steyn, Lee, Murali, Hayden, Smith, Jayawardena, Chanderpaul and they are all better than some of the guys that you have in your squad.

Ben, no matter how many times you quote your team no-ones going to care ;)

:p

Your team is pretty immense though, the Pietersen factor is the main reason for the team being awesome though. Flintoff's not done enough to get in the team though, he's barely played since the last Ashes series, and although your argument will remain about not the best team in the past few weeks, Flintoff's not played a test match for ages. When on form though he's fantastic for any side.

It's still the best team in the world when fit.

Don't believe I've posted here before:

Cook
Hayden
Ponting*
Yousuf
Tendulkar
Sangakarra+
Chanderpaul
Lee
Steyn
Muralitharan
Clark

This was much tougher than I though. Hussey loses out to Tendulkar by a cat's whisker. Bit batting heavy but meh..

Yeah, the problem I see with that squad is that you've got far too many batsmen who have similar/same positions in the batting order. I think Tendulkar would be more effective at 4 and I don't think it's doing Sanga justice, placing him so low down the order.

There's never too much fuss regarding the bowling order and there aren't any faults I can pinpoint in your XI either.

Show me a time Dravid has struggled opening.
I know some of these guys may have retired but imagine the possibilities.
OK if Dravid is no good then Hayden could take that spot and I'd replace Afridi with Jaywardena. Brett Lee could be good down the bottom there replacing Pollock but I don't know if he's all that great a batsman although he's good at sixes. When he hits them they stay hit.

did you not watch the India vs Australia series. And why are you so concerned about batting you are making a test team. You don't need the guy coming in last to be averaging over 20.
