Worst test XI or players

Oh dear, this was a ODI, not only that, Kumar was great today, considering it was his debut.

In what way is 0-50 great. It's not the worst start but saying it's great is ridiculous.

Hmmmmm......don't judge a cover by it's book, and in this case stats can be deceiving. He bowled extremely well in the death, and he got a maiden maiden over.

Go here, press Ctrl+F, then search edge and check out how many times it mentions the ball passing the edge or hitting an edge. Also, look at his bowling, I mean it's not that bad.

Still not great though. Generally great performances are economical or including wickets.

Not great but certainly very good. This sort of judgement can only be adjudged by watching him though. He was expensive at the death but kept it very tight at the start, resulting in the wickets from Sreesanth.

He beat the bat and had the batsman visibly worried often and this is an instangible quality to credit to a player after a match.

The Indian player P.Kumar who made his debut today is worst i have seen in long time.

Sums up your knowledge of cricket for sure. Pravin was the best bowler of india yesterday. Have you checked Pravin's domestic records? Please check it and then post any comments.

Remember the Guy Who Gave away 114 Runs For No Wickets Against South africa in the Outstanding 434 Chase Match?:)....Can't Get his Name....But, He's An Aussie.:p.

^Mick Lewis

what about Vernon Philander (can't field, bowl or bat)

He hasn't even played test cricket yet. Philander is good for ODI's but not sure about Tests

I will say Boeta Dippenaar

What are you mad! What about that partnership with Rudolph against Bangladesh. Boeta has helped SA out of many situations before.

Who made you the gr8 knowledgeable man of cricket. Did u saw how he batted in end. He wanted to hit every ball out of park. He gave 7 runs in first 34 overs. What happened in next overs were good indication of his bowling. Speeds of 130ks not good enough. Its good Andrew Symond or Hayden were not batting or else he would have known.

He was trying to hit sixes because the RR was like 10 an over, he did not have a choice, and believe when this guy connects, it stays connected. It's better to go down swinging.

LF - I said great considering it was his debut, he did not choke at all, his speed just needs improvement.

As Mob said "He was trying to hit sixes because the RR was like 10 an over, he did not have a choice, and believe when this guy connects, it stays connected. It's better to go down swinging."

He should have stayed at crease then. Had he been with Irfan at end then who knows. You have to get your eye in before exploding.

Had he been at the end with Irfan, he would have got out trying to hit a six. He's no Robin Uthappa. :)

You can't say he did bad just because he failed in the batting, it's just down right stupidity.

Speeds of 130kph are good enough for Glenn Mcgrath and Shaun Pollock.
